About Me
- Ian Robinson
- I am an IBM Distinguished Engineer, working in WebSphere development on transaction processing architecture and strategy. I spend quite a lot of my time on software standards and am the co-chair of the OASIS WS-Tx technical committee, amongst other things. I'm based in IBM's Hursley Lab in the UK, which has two nice pubs very close by. I have a PhD in Physics (on the structure of thin films) from Exeter University. All opinions are my own and don't reflect those of my employer, IBM.
